If you stop in on any given Saturday, the salon is swept up in wedding day excitement. “Every Saturday in our salon, we have brides getting ready for the big day, especially right now in the fall,” says salon owner and stylist Corinne Calabro. “And when you add the bridesmaids, flower girls and mothers, there is a flurry of activity, whether they are getting an updo, makeup application or polished nails—or even sipping on mimosas.”

For Grafton resident Cathy and her daughter, Megan, Cory’s Hair Studio & Day Spa was the perfect start to their day—and a memorable bonding experience.
“My daughter and I showed up when the salon opened at 8 a.m. with four bridesmaids and her mother-in-law, and the staff greeted us with mimosas and made us feel relaxed,” says Cathy, who has been a client at Cory’s for the past decade. “The morning of a wedding can be really stressful, but the staff pampered us and it was so stress free because we did not have to do our own hair and makeup.” “My daughter and I did not have to worry about how our hair and makeup would turn out because we came to Cory’s a month before the wedding for a practice hairstyle and makeup session,” she adds. “I actually grew my hair out before the wedding so I could have an updo.”
The salon offers custom bridal packages so brides can choose exactly what they want and offer friends and family the convenience of getting ready together. “One of our most requested services is airbrush makeup,” says Corinne. “We airbrush makeup for a glowing foundation and then add eye, cheek and lip color for a flawless look.” Cathy boasts that the makeup lasted all day. “It was the first time I had airbrush makeup and it looked flawless,” she says. “Even though I have slightly oily skin, it lasted all day and I did not need to do any touch-ups.”
In addition to salon and spa services, Cory’s Hair Studio and Day Spa also sells tiaras and hair accessories. “We sell a lot of hair accessories for less than you’ll find elsewhere, and we can pair them better with your hairstyle,” says Corinne. “Come in to our salon and let us help to make your wedding day beautiful.”
